In 1983 Pierre Jardinier, a former CSTB engineer (CSTB – the French Institute of Building Technology), while working in Serva laboratories with his two colleagues and conducting research on indoor air quality inside tenant buildings, designed the first in the world HIGRO – steered ventilation grate. This moment marks the beginning of AERECO Company which has evolved from a small workshop to the present-day facility occupying the space of 8000 m² where over 2 000 000 ventilation system elements are produced yearly.
The pioneers from AERECO, convinced of the unique quality of their invention right from the start, finally achieved a tremendous success. The HIGRO-steered ventilation system by AERECO gradually became more and more popular, first acknowledged by Electricite de France as an energy-saving system (Vivrelec Certificate in 1995), later included in French construction regulations (thermal reg. RT2000). At present AERECO HIGRO-steered ventilation system is acknowledged as a referential level in French thermal reg. RT2005 and it is placed among the best solutions in energy-saving ventilation systems, concerning technological-economic solutions in reg. RT2012.
The innovative ventilation system designed by AERECO has gained esteem in numerous countries in the world, different from each other in their respective past and present realities of construction business, technological awareness, designing concepts, legal regulations, levels of finesse in product manufacturing and even climates – it proves its quality everywhere as an energy-saving and effective alternative for other ventilation systems.
Since 1999 AERECO has been providing professional customer service in its eight district offices, supporting clients with professional technological assistance in every stage of their investments: designing, installation, activation and exploitation. Equipment and systems provided by AERECO satisfy the need for effective and energy-efficient ventilation in both newly-built and modernized buildings in Poland.
